Shenzhen HoweVision Technology Co., Ltd focuses on industrial communication access, dedicated to integrating optical fiber, Ethernet, Power over Ethernet, and industrial network access technology. Driven by leading technology and high-quality service, the company has developed rapidly for many years. It has become one of the leading industrial access communication equipment manufacturers and solution providers of video transmission communication equipment. After many years of development, it has performed well in industrial access networks, optical transmission networks, Ethernet-powered access networks, etc. It has become one of the most competitive professional industrial communication enterprises.
Only QC passed parts could enter the assembling procedure, which SOP would strictly follow, and in the meantime, under the supervision of quality control personnel.
Each network switch will undergo an RFC2544 examination after 4 hours of aging. The RFC2544 network test includes throughput, Delay, Frame loss, back-to-back, system reset, and system recovery. After passing the six tests, the network switch would flow to the following procedure.
We welcome third-party audits designated by our customers, which could be before production, in the middle of production, or after production. We will produce according to the samples confirmed by customers, and every process improvement will be executed after we get the customer’s approval.
After assembling, the POE switch would go through 4 hours of aging, the defective switch would be returned, and qualified products would undergo subsequent testing.
We could provide network switch OEM customization service of hardware and software. Software customization includes WEB page, Logo, model, and other product information printed on products; Hardware customization includes product outlook, packing box, user manual, etc. And, we could make such customization for free if the orders reach the agreed quantity.
Our products have passed CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications. We could also apply for those certifications by the CAs that our customers acknowledged(such as BV, TUV, SGS, and ITS) and assist our customers in finishing certification procedures.

PoE (Power over Ethernet) is defined as using an existing Ethernet cat-5 cabling infrastructure without any changes. It can provide DC power supply technology for such devices as IP phones, Wireless LAN AP, network cameras, etc… as well as transmit data signal for a Poe. Poe is also called a Pol (power over LAN) or active Ethernet (Active Ethernet), sometimes referred to as a Power over Ethernet. It is the latest standard specification for the simultaneous transmission of data and electrical power using existing standard Ethernet transmission cables and maintains compatibility with existing Ethernet systems and users.
All power of the PoE switch is a significant indicator directly related to how many cameras can be brought. For a 24-port PoE switch with a 400W power supply, the total power of the PoE switch is about 370W after removing losses.
Under IEEE802.3af standard can supply full 24 ports (370/15.4=24). It can provide power to 24 cameras simultaneously, that is, full load power. But if it is calculated according to the IEEE802.3at standard of maximum power supply of 30W for a single port, it can only supply power to 12 ports at most simultaneously (370/30=12).
In our use, the maximum power consumption of many ordinary network cameras is low, basically not more than 15W. If each PoE port has the total power (such as 30W) to reserve power supply power, the port’s PoE power can not be used up, while some ports can not share the passion of the situation. Some PoE switches support dynamic power allocation, which can avoid it. When purchasing a PoE switch, see if the button supports dynamic power allocation. Each port is only allocated the actual power used so that the power of the PoE switch can be used more efficiently.
From the technology point of view, PoE technology has been developed for many years and is now very mature. But because the current monitoring market is forced to cost pressure, the choice of PoE switch or wire quality is too inferior. Or the program design itself is unreasonable, resulting in the use of PoE power supply project maintenance workload is particularly large, so the engineers generally have PoE power supply is not a stable point of view.
Network monitoring projects, unlike standard network-integrated cabling. The data transmission volume is vast, high power, and requires uninterrupted work. The use of quality assurance PoE equipment and wire guarantees the stability of the entire system.
POE safety transmission distance is 100 meters, and it is recommended to use super five all-copper network cables above the cable.
The IEEE 802.3af standard requires the output power of the PSE output port to be 15.4W or 15.5W, and the PD device must receive no less than 12.95W after transmitting 100 meters, and the typical current value of 802.3af is 350ma. Ohm or (15.5-12.95)/350ma = 7.29 Ohm.
And the standard network cable is to meet this requirement. The standard network cable measures the IEEE 802.3af PoE power supply standard itself. And the reason for this problem is POE network cable requirements because many of the network cables on the market are non-standard network cables, not strictly following the needs of the standard network cable produced. The POE power supply must use oxygen-free copper wire, the traditional network cable.
PoE technology has high requirements for wire, and it is recommended that monitoring projects do not save costs on the wire; the loss is not worth it.
An important metric for PoE switches is the total power supplied by PoE. Under the IEEE802.3af standard, if a 24-port PoE switch has a total PoE power supply of 370W, it can provide 24 ports (370/15.4=24). Still, if it is calculated according to IEEE802.3at standard of maximum power supply of 30W for a single port, it can only supply power to 12 ports at most simultaneously (370/30=12). 12).
No. The simple answer is that PoE is not dangerous. People have misconceptions about whether the PoE will damage their devices over time. That’s not true at all. However, it would be best to take up some safety measures for AC and DC power.
PoE authorizes 95 watts of power to your equipment, such as laptops, computers, IP cameras, etc. Whenever you use the RJ45 connector and link them to the Ethernet port, you can achieve the power as per device from the Power over Ethernet. However, there are two concepts to be concluded here about the PoE.
